I have been dealing with orthokeratology for many years from a clinical and theoretical point of view, in various courses and institutions. I'm adjunct professor at Università degli Studi di Padova.
I have collaborated with EUROK as a national representative in the past and after a period of pause I decided to once again give my availability for the growth, safety and scientific consolidation of orthokeratology in Italy.

I'm a good candidate because I work exclusively in the world of specialist contact lenses. 
I have an important role in training and information on specialist contact lenses and I am in close contact with the major contactology companies. I have been working for several years in the field of orthok lenses and in the control of myopic progression. I participate at the major national and international conferences both as a participant and as a speaker. I am a member and fellow of the European Academy of Optics and Optometry (FEAOO) and in the board of the Educational Committee and of the American Academy of Optics and Optometry (FAOO). I recently completed the myopic progression management certification (IACMM). I also think I'm a good candidate because I just finished translating Michaud's myopia management book into Italian. Furthermore, speaking five languages, I think I am an added value to the academy.

I have been supporting EurOK for several years right now and I have been national coordinator for the last years. 
Every day i work with orthokeratology and sometimes i try to talk about it in courses or meeting. 
I would like to continue this experience to promote efficacy and safety of orthokeratology not only as a technique for myopia management.
